Comment on Christmas Market

Dear Rotary Club members of West Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook,
I would like to thank you for organizing such a beautiful event this Saturday. Having moved to West Pennant Hills from Europe a few years ago this was the first Christmas market I attended in Australia. I went with my kids and my parents, and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
We also bought some sweet treats from the lovely older ladies downstairs in the hall. One of those treats was a Christmas cake, it was the best Christmas cake my family and I have ever had. Dreaming of the amazing flavors of this cake I now have a cheeky question to ask: would it be possible to somehow get the recipe of this fantastic Christmas cake? I will attach a picture for reference, so you know what I am talking about. As a hobby baker myself I really appreciate homemade treats.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Lisa

What it takes to be a Rotarian
There are members of the community who may have some misunderstandings about what it takes to be a Rotarian.
We are always looking for new members and, in fact, it is new people joining that keeps us alive as a Service club. From time to time I hear people say things that make me think they don't consider joining or even visiting Rotary for all the wrong reasons.
This article is about the things you don't need to join Rotary, and the things you do, just in case you are not sure. The other thing you should know is that we are a very friendly bunch of men and women and we have a lot of fun, as well as achieving some pretty good things in the community.
