Zone 8 Regionalisation October Update |
17 October 2023 |
Your opinions and votes matter!
In this update:
Dear Rotary and Rotaract members,
It was great to see so many of you at our Pilot update webinars last month. A recorded session and the accompanying slide deck can be found here. Have your say in the Regional Council election
Currently clubs, through their President, are being asked to complete a club preferences form by the end of October to help them be placed into a RCG. More information on RCGs can be found here.
We encourage all members to consider what opportunities your club might be able to take advantage of as part of Regionalisation. You can watch a video explaining what Rotary Community Groups are and how they will be formed. Upcoming webinars
We look forward to seeing you at our October webinars via Zoom to answer questions on the Pilot. These sessions will be held on:

What it takes to be a Rotarian
There are members of the community who may have some misunderstandings about what it takes to be a Rotarian.
We are always looking for new members and, in fact, it is new people joining that keeps us alive as a Service club. From time to time I hear people say things that make me think they don't consider joining or even visiting Rotary for all the wrong reasons.
This article is about the things you don't need to join Rotary, and the things you do, just in case you are not sure. The other thing you should know is that we are a very friendly bunch of men and women and we have a lot of fun, as well as achieving some pretty good things in the community.
