CARLINGFORD COMMUNITY (VIRTUAL) ART SHOW

2020 has been a year of turmoil and great disruption for many people due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Workplaces closed.  Livelihoods lost. Families, friends and communities physically separated. Stress in households leading to a marked increase in Domestic Violence.

And yet we search out different ways to connect with each other and support people in our community.

We are pleased to present a platform for artists to showcase their talents, for art lovers to browse through the gallery, and for art buyers seeking something new.

We will also use this platform to raise awareness of Domestic Violence in our community. Proceeds of the art show will be donated to two very worthy beneficiaries – Parramatta Mission who provide amazing support for men and women caught in domestic violence situations, and Grace’s Place, a world first residential trauma recovery centre for children affected by homicide.

Celebrated Australian artist Ken Done OAM will be judging our inaugural Art Show. Artists, we are ready for your entry
