Presidents Report
Hi All, this was our first Zoom meeting for the year, and we had to be finished by 8:30pm for the start of the Matildas game. No pressure. We had 34 members join the meeting which was very good to see.
We have not touched our vision for some 5-6 years, so we invited Robert Bredin who is the Visioning Chair for the District and the President of the Rotary Club of Norwest Sunrise to join us to run us through the process of Visioning. Thank you, Robert, for your input.
The Club also voted on a Venue to hold our Face-to-Face meetings. The options and results were: Stays at Springfield 21%, Hotel Pennant Hills 3%, The Vicar 76%, thus we will be moving to the Vicar. Our last night at the Springfield will be 21 Aug 2023, Frank would like to say goodbye and from then on it will be at The Vicar. Thanks everyone for your input.

Poor Brad... contributed by David
Brad was upset and decided to end it all...
Brad lives in Melbourne, he was sick of the World, of Covid-19, Chinese belligerence, global warming, species extinction, racial tension, and all the rest of the disturbing stories that occupy the media headlines.
Brad drove his car into his garage at home, carefully sealed up around the windows and doorways of his garage, selected his favourite radio station and left his car at idle.
Two days later, his neighbour realising she had seen no sign of Brad for a while, peered through the garage window to see Brad at the wheel of his car. Immediately she phoned emergency services. Police, fire and the ambulance arrived promptly.
After pulling Brad from his car and giving him a sip of water, he seemed as good as gold.
Brad drives a Tesla. It now has a flat battery.
He also votes for the Greens… which explains his non-understanding of the real world.
