President's Report
- Hi all, on Monday night we had our normal meeting, a visioning session and then the AGM. We had some 32 people attend. It was a good night, and the AGM ran smoothly. We are still short a President Elect and it is very important we fill this position by the end of February as the President Elect training will start sometime after that. If you would like to talk more about the position please call Colin Sharpe or myself.
Updates from past week:

Ways to Remember ... contributed by Cawas
A cowboy, who just moved to Montana from Texas, walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud. He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn.
When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more. The bartender approaches and tells the cowboy, "You know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time." The cowboy replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Arizona, the other is in Colorado. When we all left our home in Texas, we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days when we drank together. So I'm drinking one beer for each of my brothers and one for myself." The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there. The cowboy becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn. One day, he comes in and only orders two mugs. All the regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss." The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns in his eyes and he laughs. "Oh, no, everybody's just fine," he explains. "It's just that my wife and I joined the Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking." “It hasn't affected my brothers though." 😁😁😁 |
More Drinking ... contributed by Cawas
Two old men are drinking at a bar, one says "Did you know that lions have sex 10 to 15 times a day.
"Aww, now you tell me, I've just joined the Rotary", said the other. |

I’ve just finished reading a book about the world’s greatest basement…..It was a best cellar
It’s my first week working at the bicycle factory and they already made me a spokesperson
My laptop caught pneumonia, apparently because I left Windows open
I thought swimming with Dolphins was expensive until I went swimming with sharks….It cost me an arm and a leg
The main function of your big toe is to make sure all the furniture in the house is in the right place
Horses have lower divorce rates. It’s because they are in stable relationships
It’s pretty obvious that if I run in front of a car I will get tired but if I run behind a car will I get exhausted
My teachers told me I’d never amount to much because I procrastinate so much. I told them you just wait.
90 % of bald people still own a comb; they just can’t part with it.
Every morning I get hit by the same bicycle……It’s a vicious cycle
The word incorrectly is spelled incorrectly in every dictionary.
I’ve been experimenting with breeding racing deer. People have accused me of just trying to make a fast buck.
The other day I yelled into a colander and I strained my voice
What do you call a row of rabbits hopping backwards?... A receding hare line
Always trust a nudist……They have nothing to hide
