President's Report
Hi all, on Monday night we had hybrid Kris Kringle. What a fantastic night and we had some 45 people attend and it was great to see people dressed up in their Christmas gear.
Instead of bringing a gift to exchange, everyone bought along some non-perishable food items which we have donated to Cherrybrook Uniting Church. This food will be given to financially disadvantaged people over the Christmas break. Thank you to everyone who donated food. Santa and his Elf made an appearance, and everyone received some Favourite chocolates in exchange for their non-perishable food.
We also had a sing along karaoke style where we had all the words on the screen. It was a lot of fun and some people had a dance.
Ricardo gave a talk on the Middle East history as he grew up in Lebanon. Thank you Ricardo a very informative talk.

Pamper Packs for Carers
The Club has reached out to Probus Clubs and Schools in our area to support Pamper Packs for Carers.
Our Tree of Joy focuses on children as recipients of gifts. The pamper pack campaign is aimed at carers of these children. An example may be an aunt who with great love has taken responsibility for a sibling’s offspring. An act of recognition to this aunt via a pamper pack or an exotic soap at Christmas will be appreciated. To date we have received support from Oakhill-Dural, Coonara-Cherrybrook, and West Pennant Hills & District Probus Clubs. |

Playing at the Casino ... contributed by Cawas
A sexy Irish blonde at a Casino, seemed a little intoxicated 🤓
She bet 20,000 Euro on a single Roll of dice.
She said - "I hope you don't mind, but I feel Luckier when I'm nude."
With that, she removed her clothes, rolled the dice and yelled - "Come on baby, Mama needs new clothes !"
As the Dice came to a stop, she jumped and yelled - "Yes, Yes, I Won... I Won..."
She hugged each dealer and picked up her winnings and clothes and left.
The dealers gazed at each other, dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked - "What number rolled on the dice ?"
The other - "I don't know, I thought you were watching."
*Moral of the story*
1. Not All drunks are Drunk
2. Not all Blondes are dumb
3. But all Men are Men !!!

Spooky ... contributed by Cawas
A bus driver was driving along a foggy highway at night, & at the bus stop, there was only a lady, very white, wispy hair and no luggage. She climbs in and sits at the last seat.
As the driver continues there is a flash of lightning and he looks in the rear view mirror but he can't see the lady. He halts the bus abruptly and looks back and there is the lady with a little bit of blood trickling down her forehead. The driver nearly shits himself, but continues driving. Again there is lighting and he checks in the rear view mirror, the lady is nowhere to be seen. He halts the bus very abruptly turns back and there is the last with a little more blood on her forehead looking back at him annoyed. The driver murmurs the lord's name and continues on. Again a flash of lighting and no lady in the rear view. He slams the brakes, turns back and there is the lady sitting with a lot of blood dripping down her head and shouts at him "Will you stop slamming the damn brakes, I'm trying to tie my shoelaces" |
Insults coated with Humour ... contributed by Cawas
She has a supreme court figure – no appeal.
She dresses to kill - and cooks the same way.
He left his job because of illness and fatigue - his boss was sick and tired of him.
He kept learning more and more about less and less, until now he knows everything about nothing.
What he lacks in intelligence, he makes up in stupidity.
It isn’t that he does not have presence of mind - his trouble is absence of thought.
Her photographs do her injustice – they look like her.
He started out in life as an unwanted child - now he is wanted in 10 states.
His credit is so bad, he cannot even borrow trouble.
