The West Pennant Hills & Cherrybrook Rotary Club Giant Charity Garage Sale was held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2019
Despite the rainy weather, which resulted in having to split the venues between the Fire Station and the Cherrybrook Uniting Church, the garage sale was a great success, with around $27,000 (net) being raised.
Funds raised will be donated to Club charities and the funds raised for the drought relief fund (donation jars) will be donated to the Coonabarabran drought relief fund to be provided to farmers in the region (for more information please click HERE)
The West Pennant Hills & Cherrybrook Rotary Club would like to thank all of the WPH&D Probus Club members & other volunteers who helped us out at the various stalls & also during the packing up on the Sunday afternoon and on the Tuesday morning.
We would also like to thank the Cherrybrook Rural Fire Service for the use of the fire station and surrounds and for their help during the weekend, the Cherrybrook Girl Guides for the use of the Guide Hall for the bric-a-brac stall and the Cherrybrook Uniting Church for the use of the Church carpark area.
The club would also like to thank the local community who supported the garage sale by donating as well as coming along and buying items.
