TAFE Dinner
On behalf of Douglas Lam (Who is currently overseas). Douglas has booked 20 places at Restaurant 2153 at Baulkham Hills TAFE for Dinner on Tuesday 4th June. So it will be on a "First In" basis. Starting time is 6.00PM for 6.30PM.
Thanks to Bernard and Douglas, we have often gone to TAFE Dinners at both Ryde and Baulkham Hills. The food is always excellent, and we are supporting the training of young people in their chosen career. Cost is $35 per head for Canapes and a 2 course dinner. Drinks from the bar are paid for separately, but prices are very reasonable. We will settle one tab per table for drinks, so please bring some cash. Please confirm attendance to Douglas Lam [email protected] by Friday 24th May. Please also deposit $35 per head to the General Account BSB 633 000 Account 165 073 016 and put your Surname and "TAFE". |

What it takes to be a Rotarian
There are members of the community who may have some misunderstandings about what it takes to be a Rotarian.
We are always looking for new members and, in fact, it is new people joining that keeps us alive as a Service club. From time to time I hear people say things that make me think they don't consider joining or even visiting Rotary for all the wrong reasons.
This article is about the things you don't need to join Rotary, and the things you do, just in case you are not sure. The other thing you should know is that we are a very friendly bunch of men and women and we have a lot of fun, as well as achieving some pretty good things in the community.
