7:18 Why “Do Magic for Polio?” PP Colin Sharpe spoke about End Polio Now being Rotary doing Magic. All raffle money being donated to End Polio Now Around $600 raised which means and additional $1200 being donated by the Gates Foundation.

7.30 President’s Report Neville Hansen. – Reflections on the year. Mention or This years Portfolio reports and next years plans. Outline of the club’s healthy financial position. How the club supported this year’s RI Presidential theme “Create Hope in the World”. Also, the importance to the club of its people (its number one asset), better together (working with other organisations) vulnerabilities (domestic violence, disadvantaged individuals, youth & international programs, and contribution to the Rotary Foundation) and process & technology (Whats on, club calendar and club contact list on members phones).

7.55 Let's have Magic – Magician Taj Pereira provided wonderful entertainment using cards, Rubik’s cubes and a bottle of wine.

DGE Niranjan Deodhar - an overview of Regionalisation that is descending upon our district starting July 1.
8.30 DESSERT SERVED - ‘Do Magic for Polio’
8.40 Paul Harris Fellow Awards. Given by the club to a Rotarian of member of the community who has made an outstanding contribution to the club or the community.

9.10 Induction of 2024/25 President - Hand over of Presidential Collar to Colin Sharpe.
9.15 Incoming President’s address – President Colin spoke about RI Stepanie Urchick’s Presidential theme “Create the Magic”. Also her vision for the 2024-25 year that takes into account the Portfolio 5 year visions prepared this year.
9.25 Introduction of 2024/25 Board. Eleven members, eight returning from this year with some changing portfolio and three new members.
9.30 ‘Do Magic for Polio’ & Closing remarks Colin
Raffle a quilt donated by Arcadian Quilters won by Tom Westcott
Hamper donated by Kaye Carter won by Anner Sharpe
Guess what was under Colin Hat was Hedwig the owl from Harry Potter. The closest guess was a Kookaburra won by Lu James.

- Allyn Day Award made annually to a club member or members who have made a significant contribution to the Club. Awarded to Tony Makin (secretary), Bob Davison (treasurer) and Ros Hogan (dinner reservations and articles for Dooral Roundup); for working tirelessly in the background their outstanding contribution to the club as Secretary, Treasurer and meeting attendance respectively.
- Trevor Turner Award made to a newer member who has made a significant contribution to the Club. Awarded to Sandra White for being into absolutely everything.
- Olive Turnbull Award – awarded by David and Jill Turnbull to Tim Sharpe for his support to our club, especially towards Teacher in a Box.
- Partners Thank You - Honorary Membership bestowed on partners who have made a significant contribution to the club for 17 or more years.
